Voice AI that works when your hands are full

The brief

Most logistics work happens away from a desk — on the dock, in the yard, in the cab. Anthropic has updated Claude's voice mode to be more useful in exactly those moments. Voice now runs on the company's stronger models (Opus and Sonnet), not only the fast lightweight one, and it can reach connected tools while you talk — Google Calendar, Gmail, Google Docs and Slack. In practice that means rescheduling an appointment, checking the thread on a delayed load, or dictating a note without stopping to type. Paid plans get the full model range and every connection; the free tier gets the fast model and one connection. It's rolling out in beta on mobile, desktop and web.

Takeaway

Try Claude voice mode for hands-free work on the dock, in the yard, or in the cab — dictate notes, check email threads on a delayed load, or reschedule without stopping to type.

Why it matters for logistics

Hands-free voice access to calendar, email, docs and Slack fits the reality of dock, yard and cab work where typing on a phone isn't practical.
